Meet The Team

At the Victoria Wing, we have an experienced and friendly team of professionals providing a high quality of service. We aim to offer sensitivity and understanding as you proceed through your treatment.

Mr Andrew Riddle (FRCOG).

Andrew Riddle is an experienced Consultant within the field of Assisted Reproduction, and is our Person Responsible. After initially working in general practice, Andrew has worked in infertility since 1984. He was responsible for setting up the Victoria Wing in 1994, in partnership with Nuffield Hospitals.

Mr Riddle has been a part-time employee of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority for over five years.

Mr Riddle has extensive experience within the NHS and is the Senior Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Frimley Park Hospital NHS Trust. Within the NHS he offers through his team a full investigation service for fertility patients, and a high risk antenatal clinic specialising in the monitoring of multiple pregnancies. He therefore has a particular interest in minimising the chances of a multiple pregnancy occurring from fertility treatment, with the unit continuing to maintain our overall excellent success rates.

Mr Paul Curtis (FRCOG)

Mr Curtis is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and has over twenty years experience in the field of infertility. He first trained at the University of Bristol, and has worked as a researcher investigating the management of male infertility, at the Royal Free Hospital. He was invited to join the Victoria Wing in 1996 and has since been a Senior member of the team. Mr Curtis also works as a Consultant at the Royal Surrey County Hospital and at Mount Alvernia Hospital, Guildford.

Mr Nick Brook (MRCOG).

Nick Brook is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine. Having completed his research post with Lord Professor Robert Winston at the Hammersmith Hospital , Mr Brook moved to complete his training at Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospital subspecialising in this field. He obtained his Consultant post in July 2006 and now is Clinical Lead for fertility services at Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust. He has an interest in ultrasound assessments of fallopian tubes and male factor infertility.
