Nursing Team

Our ACS Manager is Caroline Lewis (RGN) who has worked in the field of infertility for over thirty-five years. As well as managing the nursing team and leading the clinic, Caroline is an expert in the field of oocyte donation. Caroline was responsible for initially setting up our highly successful oocyte donation and egg sharing programmes at Woking. She is a founder member of the Senior Infertility Nurses Group, who meet regularly to share best practice around the country.

Caroline is assisted by Deputy Managers Ann Wilcox (RGN), Catherine Gadd (BSc(hons), RGN) and Fertility Sister Sue Harrison (RGN)
Ann has worked at the Victoria Wing since 1995 and is involved in our patient support (WISH) group along with our counsellor Suze Fisher. Catherine led the nursing team at Queen Charlotte’s and the Hammersmith IVF Unit for a number of years, before joining us at the Victoria Wing. Sue has worked at Nuffield Health, Woking Hospital for over fifteen years. She worked as a Sister on the ward and particularly enjoyed caring for patients after their egg collections. She subsequently joined the Victoria Wing team in 2006 .

Our nursing team are friendly, professional and are here to assist you through all aspects of your treatment. Our nurses include:

Amanda Wilkins (RGN, RM, Dip Counselling)
Amanda has been a member of the Victoria Wing team for over fifteen years, having previously worked as a midwife.

Ann Hurley (RGN)
Ann has many years of experience as a fertility nurse specialist in Harley Street and at the Dunedin Hospital in Reading, before joining the Victoria Wing in 2006. As well as fertility nursing, Ann works alongside ultrasonographer Lyndsay to monitor treatment cycles and pregnancy.

Bernie McDougall (RSCN, RGN)
Bernie has 30 years of nursing experience. She previously worked at Nuffield Health, Woking hospital for 7 years and joined the Victoria Wing team in 2010

Claire Impiazzi
Claire has joined the team as our Healthcare assistant having previous trained as an SEN.

Dawn Budge (BSc(hons), RM, RGN)
Dawn first trained as a general nurse in Guildford and worked at the Royal Surrey County Hospital for many years as a nurse and midwife, before joining our team in 2007.

Debbie Slaney (RGN)
Debbie has recently joined the team having worked on the ward at Woking for seven years. She has a background in gynaecology and general surgery.

Emma Robinson (RGN)
Emma has many years of experience as a general nurse, and has worked in various fertility units in London before joining us here at Woking.

Linda Buckley (RM, BSc (hons))
Linda originally joined the team at Woking in 2004. She has worked as a Research Midwife in Oxford before returning to us in 2015.

Linda Friend (RGN)
Linda has over twenty years of experience working as a nurse and midwife in the UK and overseas. She joined the team in 2007.

Misa Sochorcova (RGN)
Misa has been with the Nuffield since 2008 before joining the team at the Victoria Wing.

Rebecca Goulding (RGN, BA(hons))
Rebecca joined the team at the Victoria Wing and brought with her over ten years of experience in fertility nursing. Before coming to Woking she was the Sister at the Chelsea and Westminster fertility unit.

Rosie Killick (RGN, BSc(hons))
Rosie joined us from Nuffield Health, Guildford Hospital, where she worked on the surgical ward. Prior to this, she worked on the Gynaecology ward at the Royal Surrey County Hospital.

Sue Callan (RGN)
Sue has worked with the Woking Nuffield hospital for many years and has now joined the Victoria Wing nursing team.

Sue Clements (RM, BA(hons))
Sue qualified as a midwife in Newcastle upon Tyne. She relocated to the south of England where she has worked as a midwife and has now joined the team at Nuffield Health.

Ultrasound Scans

Our sonographer, Lyndsay Hopkins (RGN, RM, PGC Obs/Gynae ultrasound) works alongside nurses Ann Hurley, Rebecca Goulding and Sue Harrison to monitor the growth of follicles during treatment cycles and to scan in early pregnancy. Lyndsay, Ann and Sue are also qualified to perform pelvic assessment scans and pregnancy scans.
